Tip Women in Coffee

the empowerment journey

Women, Strength, and Empowerment

Now, I want to talk about something that is very close to my heart: empowering young women.

Why do I talk about this so much? Because I’ve seen it. When a young woman owns something—her own business, her own land, her own vision—she owns her future. And when she owns her future, her children’s future is secured too.

I think of the women I’ve seen on coffee farms, mothers who rise before dawn, tying their babies on their backs while they pick cherries. Their strength humbles me. But too often, their voices are silenced. They’re told to wait, to depend, to survive quietly. And I say: No. Empowering women isn’t charity. It’s justice. It’s legacy. It’s saying: You are worthy. You are capable. And your children deserve a future built on your strength.

That’s why Ithaga Coffee isn’t just about beans—it’s about giving women hope and a platform to stand on.
